EMERGING FROM ISOLATION:
NOTES ON THE PANDEMIC

Twelve artists from Jamaica Queens produced work, while some worked in seclusion by choice, others did not. Restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic have affected an unprecedented, collective experience of self-isolation. This exhibition offers examples and documents what South East Queens Alliance (SEQAA) artists have created during this time that reflects their perseverance in spite of this global health crisis.
